Yesterday surrendered in Malaga Film Albeniz prizes call V "Awards Child Friendly Cities 2012-2016 and VI Contest of Children Rights and Municipal Policy 2012, organized porUNICEF Spain, the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
The City of Torre Pacheco has been recognized in the category of Health Rights for Drug Addiction Prevention program and projects "Andoenredando" and mediation in schools have received special recognition in the category Right to Live in a Tolerant Multicultural Society.
The event is especially recognized that local effort being made to maintain the investment in children, despite experiencing difficult times.
It also appealed to all stakeholders, public and private, to join forces for the most vulnerable children.
The event was chaired by the President of UNICEF Spain, Consuelo Crespo, Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality, Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla, Secretary General of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, Angel Fernandez Diaz, the Deputy Minister of Local Government and Institutional Relations of the Government of Andalusia, José Luis Pérez Tapias, and the Mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre Prados.
