The Municipal Institute for Social Action Services collaborates with the Koryo Taekwondo Club in Torre-Pacheco in the development of an introductory course in taekwondo for a group of children between six and twelve years of age of all nationalities.
The objective of this activity, completely free of charge, is also starting to youth in promoting taekwondo basic techniques and incorporating their approach to the sport, educate on the values ​​of respect for diversity, solidarity and coexistence establishing a intercultural meeting place.
The course, which ends in June 2013 and involving nearly thirty smaller municipality, is taught in the municipal sports facilities and the clubhouse two days a week in two groups divided by age (the first aimed at children aged 4-7 years, and the second under 8 to 12 years old) from 16:15 to 17:15 and 17:15 to 18:15 respectively.
