This morning the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, along with several members of the Municipal Corporation visited CECOCRE Workshop School, which was launched on December 29, 2011 and is located in the old School of Rosario to qualify to 37 young Township Torre-Pacheco of which 6 are women.
The ages of the participants are between 17 and 25 years.
The trades that are being given are masonry, electrical, painting and gardening.
The project has a grant of one million euros from the European Social Fund (ESF) Ministry of Education, Training and Employment through the Regional Employment and Training and the City works Torre-Pacheco.
CECOCRE (center of knowledge and creation) is a school workshop came to the rehabilitation of the old school of the Rosary, and parks annexes, bound to create a space for culture, knowledge and creativity in which is to accommodate cultural associations and groups, social and youth of the municipality with the necessary interrelationship between them, with the concept of maximizing benefits and self-management resources in this environment.
Workshop School is a mixed program of employment and training aimed at improving the employability of the unemployed under 25 years, in order to enhance their skills and facilitate their subsequent employment.
The pupil is receiving occupational training appropriate to the occupation in the future play in alternation with work and professional practice.
Besides teaching treasury trades of masonry, painting, gardening and electricity, are receiving knowledge in computer literacy, gender equality, employment counseling and job search, notions about self-employment and small business development, risk prevention and early Aid, English classes and additional training to obtain compulsory secondary education, in order to be prepared to face the job market and know undertake active job search.
Besides the works requiring restoration of the Rosary College, where at this stage are more focused students masonry and electricity because the restoration process requires it, students of painting and gardening workshops are doing other jobs in collaboration with landscape services and maintenance of the City, these being of great help to those services.
From the paint shop are painted mills and Uncle Pasico Pacorro, the kitchen has been fitted to adult education training courses, signs in the town of Torre Pacheco for the festivities, the Center the Cachimanes Civic, school classrooms Dolores who have enabled the ESO classes, dependencies Youth House.
Under instructions from Foreman services being restored and painted benches for different public spaces in order to wash the face to those who are most damaged.
The gardening workshop students bear the full maintenance with pruning of several gardens including the municipality.
Also, is preparing a restoration project for the Park of the Constitution.
Students-electrical workers, they will start working with electric service, still at the stage of coordinating with the City responsible electrical potential work to be done, through coordination with the monitor.
