Last Friday was inaugurated in Roldán a garden in honor of the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family, in appreciation and gratitude to the important work of spiritual, cultural and social carried by nuns Mother Aurora, Sister Maria Paz and Sister Josefa, contributing to progress , social cohesion and civic participation of Roland.
A Durantes work over 25 years in this district, since they began their project to found a new house of spirituality, continuing with the creation of the nursery to which many families have entrusted the care and attention to their children, providing power reconciling work and family life, and ultimately, the deep involvement with young people and the needs and tasks of the parish of Roldan.
The Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family reached Roldan, 25 years ago, to found a new spiritual home.
The nuns also contributed to the hamlet socially, engaging in other activities in support of the Parish of San Jose, along with the various priests who have been in charge.
Among its activities, stressed the religious education and formation, the organization of children and youth catechesis for First Communion and Confirmation, and their participation in the Church Choir and motivation to the youth of the parish in his involvement with the parish and participation in meetings and social gatherings and religious spiritual support work and visit the sick, and providing food and clothing to the needy.
The Sisters will leave in April to Colombia to create a spiritual home and educational work in the City of Villacencio.
