The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, inaugurated this initiative of the Board of Culture, Education and Youth, supported strongly by most libraries in the municipality.

Thanks to these professionals further enhance the reading and culture in the town.

The booksellers are participating township: Joyma Bookseller Torre-Pacheco, Rosso Bookseller Torre-Pacheco, San Martin de Roldán bookstore, bookstore The bookstore Cuba Balsicas and Dolores de Pacheco pencil.

The fair will be at the Town Hall Square with the following times: 10:30 to 14:00 hours and from 17.00 to 21.00 hours.

Also this weekend will be held several events commemorating the day the book.

Saturday will be a tribute to the poet Carlos Fuentes Penafiel in the Public Library of Torre-Pacheco.

Sunday will receive their awards from literary contests (poetry for adults, Christmas cards, micro-stories and short stories).

After the awards Eloy Sanchez Rosillo-recital will speak.

The events will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Public Library of Torre-Pacheco.
