This morning, the councilor delegated the area of ​​Education, Culture and Sports, Araceli Martinez has received a delegation of students and teachers (40 people) of the IES Sabina Mora de Roldan, the Issec Pigier (Toulouse, France) and Srednja Sola ( Slovenia) involved in a Comenius project called "We focus on the Mediterranean diet, do you?"
The objective of this project is to enrich the academic and personal development of students using as thread gastronomic heritage.
All centers involved share a common space where students can learn culture and traditions and European.
Students develop an interest in different learning style: learning to know a culture, people, language, habits, own or foreign.
With this purpose, we have conducted interdisciplinary tasks that are intended to encourage communication and cooperative learning: Fotomaratón or photo contest where students take photographs on the theme, a cookbook, bringing together a selection of recipes representative , video recordings of the development of the best traditional dishes in several languages, a blog, a directory of schools participating in this project and a cooking competition on traditional dishes and desserts.
