The initiative funded by the European Fund for the Integration of Third-Country Nationals "European Academy for the Integration of Migrants (EU-MIA)" (www.eu-mia.eu) has selected Andoenredando Project, sponsored by the City of Torre-Pacheco, one of the 20 best practices on integration policies at the local level in Europe.
The EU-MIA consortium, which is led by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization, based in Turin, has among its partners the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS), University of Oxford , and the International and European Forum for Migration Studies (FIERI).
This initiative is aimed at the analysis and the transfer of best practices developed by the key players involved in local authorities in the field of integration of immigrants in Europe.
As part of this project, the City of Torre-Pacheco as project developer Andoenredando, has been invited to participate in the seminar to be held in Turin in February 2014, in order to share and disseminate the experience developed in the town for the past six years.
