Over 70 hours of training, the 16 students have gained knowledge about Alzheimer disease (disorders, treatment, clinical stages), the problems of daily life associated with it and the impact that this disease has on the family, stopping figure also caregivers and housing restructuring of these patients.
The objectives: to provide a tool to increase the quality of care for these patients and to train students in a demand profession: nursing assistant and specialized care for dependents.
Some of them continue their education in the field of geriatric care for dependents through professional certificates.
The course was aimed at unemployed young people with minimum qualifications preferably ESO or EGB what has been done in hours 9-13 pm Monday to Thursday at the Adult Education Center Mar Menor.
