This morning has been the City Commission Truancy and Dropout Hall of Torre-Pacheco which aims to prevent and eliminate absenteeism and dropout rates in the municipality.
Regarding scope, speaks to students and their families, the educational community and the municipality in general and institutions with competence in absenteeism in the municipality of Torre Pacheco.
A preventive level, are recipients of the activities the students studying the teachings of the second cycle of primary education, primary and secondary schools.
The monitoring measures, intervention and control of truancy, are aimed specifically at students between 6 and 18 years old who attends lessons in primary and secondary education.
However, for students aged 16 to 18 years old, these measures will be directed towards the completion of their studies and obtaining the relevant degree.
The City Commission Truancy and Dropout is comprised of members of the City Council, schools, Regional Government, health services, local police, parents associations and socio mediators.
The commission shall meet at least once a quarter in ordinary-allowing absenteeism records or special needs urgent meeting in extraordinary session as well be valued.
