This morning he presented the V Edition of National Short Film Festival for Diversity "Andoenredando", organized by the municipality of Torre Pacheco through IMSAS and to be held from 4 to 9 November.
The presentation ceremony took place at the Government Office in Murcia, was chaired by the Secretary General of the Government Office, José Gabriel Ruiz and was accompanied by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, the Director General Social Policy of the Autonomous Community, Leopoldo Navarro
The aim of this Festival, which began in 2009, is raise awareness among people about various social problems such as child care, domestic violence, poverty and exclusion, disability or discrimination based on gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation, with an emphasis on promoting diversity resulting from migration étniccultural through the dissemination of short films and documentaries with social content.
In this edition of the festival took part 266 short films and 68 short documentaries, with an outstanding level of quality.
Of them, have been selected to join the Official Short Film Competition, 35 short films and 19 documentaries.
The Festival has been made through the festival management platform Movibeta.
In terms of production and distribution, there has been extensive communication and collaboration with the most significant in the country.
Especially noteworthy Freak Agency, Promofest, Madrid en Corto, Mailuki Films, Marvin & Wayne, Banatu Filmak, Young Producers, The House of the Films, Films Tourmalet and etc.
The poster of this edition has been specially designed by the great artist Antonio Martinez Mengual Murcia, who has exhibited in galleries and shows as "Arteder" in Bilbao, or "Arc" for several years.
His collaboration with Francisco Brines culminates in the book "The Enlightened Black Rose" (2003), a selection of poems by Brines that illustrated by Martinez Mengual, won first prize of the Ministry of Culture the best book published.
Among the many places he has exhibited his work include the Expo 92 in Seville, the Peter Bartlow Gallery, Chicago, in 1997, or the Florence Biennale in 1999.
The National Short Film Festival for Diversity held its fifth edition Andoenredando between 4 and November 9, 2013, in the municipality of Torre Pacheco will become a showcase for the best short films produced in the last year in Spain with common: their commitment to the various problems and demands in our society.

The jury of this edition consists of short film directors proven reputation, with a strong and very winning film career: Roque Madrid, Christopher Downs, Jorge Muriel and a Goya Award-winning director in 2012, Esteban Crespo.
