After the good reception by the public at the XXIV Festival de Cante Flamenco de Lo Ferro, Peña Flamenca together with the city of Torre-Pacheco have decided to hold their XXXV edition 21 to July 27, 2014.
Normally this festival is usually held in late August but this year's edition was held in July and given the good results it was decided to repeat the publication date of 2014
The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García, Councillor for Culture, Araceli Martinez, the president of the Peña Flamenca Golden Melon, Mariano Escudero, the honorary president, Sebastián Escudero, Secretary of the Organizing Committee Festival Flamenco de Lo Ferro, Francisco Aparicio and cultural advisor of the City of Torre-Pacheco, Luis Arts.
At this meeting we worked on the coordination of events, as well as the selection of the painter to prepare the poster for the next edition.
The Festival de Cante Flamenco de Lo Ferro is declared of Regional Tourist Interest.
The beginnings of this festival date back to 1980, when its main driver Sebastian Escudero with other flamenco lovers, decided to organize a flamenco evening on the occasion of local festivals Lo Ferro.
Thanks to the continuing efforts of the "Golden Melon Peña Flamenca" along with the city we enjoy every year of this festival, which has consolidated to become one of the most important flamenco.
The Festival is present throughout the year, celebrating a series of parallel activities to disseminate the culture of flamenco.
