Residents of Torre-Pacheco donated nearly 6,500 € and 10,000 kilos of food during the Marathon Radio Caritas Torre-Pacheco (19/12/2013)
Yesterday was held in the Instructions Circle of Torre-Pacheco traditional Radio Marathon Solidario to benefit Caritas Parish of Torre-Pacheco, which was organized by Caritas Parish and Radio Torre-Pacheco had the cooperation of the City of Torre-Pacheco and asociaicones and groups in the municipality.
Milk, oil, rice, tuna, pulses, biscuits and fried tomato, that will feed large families for a few months: During nearly 12 hours nearly 10,000 kilos of nonperishable food, especially collected.
In addition, they raised almost € 6,500 through participation in auctions of multiple products or contributions that companies and individuals engaged in phone or in person.
