So this past Saturday, January 18th, we proceeded to the act of atonement.
Many faithful came pilgrimage from the Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel to pray the Rosary and singing.
After completing the pilgrimage, in the Chapel, the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, D.
Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, presided at the Eucharist, which at the end, and after a few moments of adoration, reserved back in the Ermita.
Monsignor Lorca Planes spoke words of encouragement to the whole parish community of Torre Pacheco, explaining that "we live in a society that has become insensitive to the drama and violence but by such grave acts such as we have experienced ourselves as Christians we can not stay in despair, but it is always reason to look to the Lord, rise up, and go to Him as did the prodigal son, knowing that God forgives everything and can do everything. "
He prayed for those who committed the robbery and was happy to have been able to celebrate the Eucharist together with all present.
The event was attended by nearly a thousand people, and the Vicar of the area and other priests the sons of the people.
After the incident occurred have adopted security measures around this chapel which is visited every day by many faithful.
