This morning the City of Torre-Pacheco and the Association of Solidarity with the Immigrant "Murcia Welcomes" Torre-Pacheco signed a cooperation agreement to promote associations and civic participation of immigrants living in Torre-Pacheco, through the realization of social actions that address and promote the new neighbors, as well as maintenance services, programs and activities to their social and professional integration, considering the specific needs of this group in the town of Torre-Pacheco.

The agreement was signed by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid and Murcia welcomes president of Torre-Pacheco, Josefa Hernandez Hidalgo.

Thanks to this agreement, which is valid for a year and a financial contribution of € 5,400, Murcia in Torre-Pacheco Welcomes will perform the following activities:

. 1 Area of ​​education:

- Taught classes Castilian women, Wednesdays from 10 to 13 hours and mixed Monday afternoon.

- Imparting literacy classes for women, Friday from 10 to 13 hours, mixed, Tuesdays from 17:30 to 19:30.

- Intercultural Mediation.

Thursday from 9:30 to 13:30.

- Information and counseling records and presentation of Aliens in the Foreign Office, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 13:00.

- ADDS Program (program for employment integration) Monday to Friday mornings.

- Temporary housing project.

- Project for the improvement of living conditions and access to project housing, managed the Wednesday morning.
