On Saturday, July 5, the Musical Union Torre-Pacheco acted in the Juan XXIII San Vicente de Raspeig Park to mark the XXXVIII Festival Bands such Alicante town and XXI Tribute to Senior Partner in the band pachequera acted as guest band.
Participating bands departed from Spain in the parade square to move to the room where the event was held.
Both musical groups received the applause and encouragement from those who got in their way.
Once in the Park scene John XXIII emcee the event led to the first intervening cluster, pachequera band, under the direction of Antonio García Gil played the following program: the quickstep 'García Antón' the composer Manuel Lillo sanvicentero, that seguió 'Mary Poppins' RM and RB Sherman, concluding with Lourd Tullamore Carl Wittrock.
After this performance, the local band, under the direction of José Antonio Antolin Polo played the following program: the paso doble 'Primitive' Jef Penders, 'Amazonia' by Jan van der Roost and 'Festiva Suite' of Juan Meseguer.
The Councillor for Culture of St. Vincent de Raspeig, Saturnino Alvarez, accompanied by the President of the Musical Society La Esperanza, Juan Guijarro, presented a commemorative plaque to the President of the Musical Union Torre-Pacheco in appreciation for their participation in this musical contest reference in the Alicante town, where dozens of neighbors each year enjoy the performances from top national and provincial groups.
