This morning has started the 2014-2015 driver education course in the town of Torre-Pacheco with the launch of the lectures in the College of Ardieta Hernandez Roldan.
The inauguration was attended by the Mayor of Torre-Pacheco, Fina Marin Otto, head of the department of education of the provincial highway traffic headquarters, the director of Children's Park in Torre-Pacheco, José Mercader Saura, director CEIP Hernández Ardieta, José Ros García and monitor who teach the course, Salvador Martínez López.
These lectures will last until the 30th of January 2015, and each group of 87 participating groups will receive a total of 3 sessions of 60 minutes each, the first presentation of the project and completion of the pre-test, the second with content development and custom work to students, and the third and final installment of the work done and the completion of post-test.
Starting on February 16, 2015, will be implemented in practical classes facilities Children's Traffic Park in Torre-Pacheco, where the 87 groups will come at the rate of 2 per day, and students will have the opportunity to practice as pedestrians and as drivers karts and bikes, and previous monitor appropriate instructions, children will run through the streets of the Children's Traffic Park, to implement the theoretical lessons learned in their classrooms.
For this course, and according to the lists received from the various participating schools, is expected to attend 297 students CEIP Hernández Ardieta (Roldan), 241 students CEIP Fontes (Torre-Pacheco), 59 students at CEIP San Cayetano, 328 CEIP students Virgen del Rosario (Torre-Pacheco), 265 students in CE Virgin Pasico (Torre Pacheco), 9 students of the College of Los Olmos, 10 students of the College
Los Meroños, 213 students Garre Alpañez CEIP (balsicas), 45 students of College of The Jimenado, 219 students CEIP San Antonio (Torre Pacheco), 58 students of CEIP El Alba (Roldan), and 157 students of Our Lady CEIP of Sorrows (Dolores de Pacheco).
These three schools belonging to the Rural School Grouped Entretierras.
So a total of 1901 students from 8 to 12 years old, will participate in this project from 2003-2004 has been developing the City of Torre-Pacheco through its Driver Education Department, which belongs to the Department of Safety Citizen.
