The International Film Festival for Diversity "Andoenredando" deliver the tribute award of the VI Festival Carlos Iglesias in recognition of his work as director of works such as "1 franc, 14 pesetas";
"Ispansi" or the recently released "2 francs 40 pesetas."
Although it was his role as an actor in television programs and series like "This is my neighborhood" or "Hands" that made him popular, Carlos Iglesias, who has participated in over 40 projects for small and large screen, has an extensive career as an actor in theater and film, where stands Sancho Panza his role in the film "Don Quixote" by Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón.
The grant wanted Andoenredando Festival for the first time in this sixth edition of the event, a tribute to his career as especially valuing the social commitment of his works, which is visible the fact of migration of thousands of people forced to migrate in search of a better life.
Carlos Iglesias accept the award during the Closing Ceremony of the Festival will take place on Saturday November 15 at 21:00.
in the Performing Arts Center of Torre Pacheco.
Actor and director also participate in a side event of the Festival, roundtable emerging filmmakers in which analyze and reflect on the state of theater today and lace work of authorship in the film world and the market audiovisual in Spain.
This will take place on the same Saturday hours earlier, at 13: 00h, in the Public Library of Torre Pacheco.
