The Minister of Development, Public Works and Planning, Francisco Barnabas, Torre Pacheco today announced a series of actions "that will make a marked improvement of the road network of the municipality and a better connection of the town with its districts and the rest of the region ".
Barnabas made these statements after the working meeting held with the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Josefa Marín, in which various matters of municipal interest relating to matters within the jurisdiction of the Ministry were discussed.
Specifically, the tracks on which works are planned in the coming months are MR-F22 (Torre Pacheco-Balsicas) and the RM-F51 (Torre Pacheco-Pozo Strait), where the pavement strengthening is expected.
Improving road safety in the RM-F21 (Torre Pacheco-Los Martínez del Puerto) at the level of municipal facilities, and construction of a gazebo in the RM-F36 (Torre Pacheco-Cartagena) is also contemplated, as well as the tender of two other strong reinforcement works on the RM-F26 (Balsicas-Dolores Pacheco) and RM-F29 (Torre Pacheco-Dolores Pacheco).
Francisco Bernabé also indicated that, with the modification of subsidiaries zoning regulations of the municipality, will accelerate a number of urban paperwork "that will allow job-creating investments and wealth in Torre Pacheco, who are the pillars on that overcoming the crisis settles ".
The Minister of Public Works said that "we will also improve the connection by bus to the Hospital of Los Arcos, in San Javier, which we consider essential to facilitate access to health services pachequeros".
