The City of Torre-Pacheco has launched the creation of Local Health Council, which will be a framework that allows the interaction of municipal areas involved in health policy, representatives of health professionals, citizens' associations and organizations representing social interests in the field of Public Health, aimed towards convergence with performances by the relevant regional and state authorities.
This council is constituted as an, informative, consultative body gives advice and proposal, which will meet every six months and will have the scope the town of Torre-Pacheco.
The Local Health Board aims to promote the physical, mental and social wellbeing of citizens in Torre-Pacheco using a model of responsibility in public health, prevention of disease and promotion of health, such as philosophy, intersectoral action and citizen participation, working methodology.
