The general director of Educational Centers, María Dolores Valcárcel, and the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Josefa Marín, today visited the school and Primary Education Nuestra Señora del Rosario for a meeting with officials of the center and check the educational use are planned for the computers they just received.
The management of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities and the City has allowed this public school has received the donation from the company Hidrogea five computers within their Corporate Social Responsibility policies in support of education and training.
The new computers are already in operation and are used by the students of this school as a support in developing skills in technology management and other processes to improve the quality of education for school success.
"With this action Hidrogea, public schools in different localities in which the company operates will receive additional computer equipment for students, which will be used to improve their learning," said Maria Dolores Valcárcel.
In recent years, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities has allocated nearly 700,000 euros for furniture and equipment in state schools in the municipality of Torre Pacheco.
The Ministry also made a more than four million euros for the construction of the Public School Our Lady of the Rosary, which currently has 772 pupils investment.
Finally, the meeting with the management team also analyzed the work on bilingualism in this school, which is part of the schools in which the Ministry of Education has introduced instruction in Spanish and English from kindergarten.
