The candidate of Union Progreso y Democracia mayor of Torre Pacheco, Manuel Queiró, states that "it is necessary to promote the use of new energy sources that contribute to sustainable development of the municipality".
UPyD candidate Torre Pacheco explained that "alternative energy sources can lead to savings in household spending and, most importantly, respect the environment more."
Queiro made the remarks after a working meeting at the trade fair town of Torre Pacheco (IFEPA) with the owners of Workshops Grana Fuente Alamo, among other functions dedicated to the transformation of gasoline-powered Bi-fuel vehicles and gasoline LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas).
"In our program a reduction and even gratuity road tax for vehicles respectful with the environment is included, as they can be hybrids, electric or bi-fuel".
In that sense, the candidate of the formation magenta says that "we have to think of a long-term sustainable city, where residents can have reductions in taxes as property tax if they opt for energy improvements respectful with the environment, such as solar panels ".
As a user of this technology, the candidate Manuel Queiró remarks that "I same story with two vehicles converted to LPG".
Queiro notes that such transformations in boats and motorcycles such as the company performed "is a very effective way to eliminate contamination with which we punish our roads and the Mar Menor".
Also, the candidate declares that "we must make more efficient municipal control of all illegal dumps that dot the pachequeras districts."
From UPyD "aim to create better-marked nature trails and strengthen existing ones such as the windmills," he concludes.
