The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities published tomorrow in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) the tender for the expansion of secondary school in the hamlet Sabina Mora Roldan, Torre Pacheco.
The project has a budget of 863 220 euros, has a deadline of nine months.
From Wednesday, the companies that are interested in doing the work will have 26 days to submit their bids.
Specifically, the expansion involves the construction of eight classrooms, distributed four ground floor and four on the first floor, and two seminars with direct access from the current school.
The general director of Educational Centers, Maria Dolores Valcárcel, said "the bidding of works supposed to respond to the commitment it made the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities with the educational community in which Roland and technicians have been working for several months for bidding and execution. "
Also, the design of the extension of the center, which is funded by ERDF, maintains the aesthetics of the existing building, which has raised a number of holes and finishes like for the red brick facade, so that the new building is integrated with the existing one.
The total floor area is 1,000 square meters (887 m2 of floor space) and the design seeks to maintain the maximum possible for the playground space.
The expansion will remove the four portable classrooms with which the school has today.
