The Ministry of Education and Universities has awarded the redevelopment of Secondary School Sabina Mora in the hamlet of Roldan, Torre Pacheco.
The expansion of the center consists of eight classrooms, distributed four ground floor and four other classrooms on the first floor.
The general director of Educational Centers, Maria Dolores Valcárcel reiterated the "commitment of the regional government to continue improving and expanding schools in the region."
Thus, he noted that "the award of these works supposed to respond to the commitment it made the Ministry with the educational community in which Roland and technicians have been working for several months to run."
The project has a budget of 863,220 euros, financed by the Community through the ERDF, and has a deadline of nine months.
The floor area of ​​the extension is 1,000 square meters, of which 887 will be useful.
Specifically, the expansion involves the construction of eight classrooms, four distributed in ground floor and four on the first floor, a bathroom downstairs and two seminars on the first floor with direct access from the same institute.
The enlargement treatment center will follow the aesthetic of the existing building, finished to the red brick facade, so that the new building is fully integrated with the existing one.
