The works have a lead time of six months
The Ministry of Education and Universities this week awarded the works for the construction of a new classroom building of Secondary Education in the College of Education and Basic Our Lady of Sorrows, in the hamlet of Los Dolores Torre Pacheco.
In addition, this action also includes the arrangement and enhancement of the sports center.
The main work involves the construction of a new space with seven classrooms spread over one floor.
Furthermore, according to the design of new classrooms, existing accesses will be used to integrate the new building in the whole school.
"From the Ministry of Education conducted a major effort to further improve the network of schools in the region," said the general director of Educational Centers, Maria Dolores Valcárcel, adding that "the purpose of performances like the one just award is that all students have the best infrastructure to contribute to quality education and achieving greater academic success. "
The project implementation period of six months.
Besides the construction of classrooms, also includes design of gardens, the pedestrian link with the educational establishment and the recovery of existing sports facilities in the campus.
The performance has an investment of 489,731 euros, financed by the Community through the ERDF.
"The overall improvement that will take place in this center adds to the actions undertaken by the regional government in education in the city in recent years," concluded Maria Dolores Valcárcel.
