In the morning, the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, and members of his administration, have received media, in what was intended as a first contact in a relaxed, since he started the new stage government last November 21.
The aim was to present the lines of action of a team that primarily seeks transparency, clarity and accountability, and this meeting with the media an example of closeness and good understanding in what purports to be a close collaboration between the government team and the Media.
The presentations have given way to the great contemporary issues of concern at this time to the town of Torre-Pacheco.
Both interventions Mayor Antonio Leon, as the Councillor of Finance, Carlos Lopez, have focused on the robbery that took place on the night of yesterday in a jewelry store in the hamlet of Roland, which has led to the issue of insecurity;
although the issue of municipal debt has been the main protagonist of the day.
The Mayor explained how they are currently municipal accounts, with a debt of over 41 million euros, and noted that numbers are provisional, while continuing to seek information on bills, grants and other commitments carried over from the previous Corporation.
Léon Garre is committed to make public all the numbers, because it is an issue that concerns all neighbors, and the commitment to transparency acquired by the new government team.
