The Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport has signed a collaboration agreement with the municipality of Torre Pacheco, which agrees with 500,000 euros to finance the implementation of the paving and lighting on stretches of roads F-22 and F-29 Torre Pacheco linking the villages of Balsicas and Dolores de Pacheco, respectively.

Both roads are integrated into the local village in the northern diversion Torre Pacheco, and his conditioning will have a significant impact on the communications of the municipality, and that in addition to increasing road safety in the area, the works will result comprehensive restructuring of traffic, with a decrease of this and more fluidity in the movement of the inhabitants of this town.

The action involves the paving of sidewalks and installation of streetlights along the two blocks, and has as its objective the improvement of road safety.

The session pachequero will be responsible for presenting the project to Public Works, in a document detailing all actions necessary for the adaptation of both roads.

The Ministry of Public Works already carried out a performance at the two roads, which consisted of a first phase of widening and lighting of the lanes.

With these works, the Department improved road safety for both pedestrians and cyclists who run from Balsicas and Dolores de Pacheco to the municipality's urban center, such as vehicles daily travel through the two routes, which average daily traffic is over 8,000 vehicles in total.

In this sense, the director general of Transport and Highways, Carmen Sandoval, has welcomed the signing of this collaboration agreement with the municipality of Torre Pacheco, since, as said, "The development of this second performance in both local roads will be a final reinforcement of safety, reducing incidents by strengthening the lighting and, ultimately, dramatically improving communications in Torre Pacheco.
