Wednesday, June 4, the closing of the "XVII Week Meeting of Associations of Women in Torre Pacheco, which was organized by the Department of Women, has toured the town for a week.
The seventeenth (XVII) Week Meeting between Women's Associations, is framed within the actions from the Department of Women and Equality of the Municipality of Torre Pacheco, are scheduled for 2009.
This week's main objective: to encourage the participation of women's association, to organize specific activities for women, to promote the exchange of experiences and collaboration among the various associations of the municipality.
This edition has a conference entitled "A Taste of Health", organized the departments of Health and Women, a roundtable with the title "for Energy Consumption at Home" and an afternoon meeting between all the associations Dolores de Pacheco, who settled in tents, next to the Civic Center Dolores de Pacheco, for the various Associations of Women exposed some of the work done throughout the year.
