This morning has been opened at the Day of Torre Pacheco a conference aimed at local police, CAVI staff, staff of the Department of Equality and Women with the aim of raising awareness of the situation of child abuse: types, associated factors and detection indicators, provide common standards and shared with other professionals to assess the gravity of the situation and establish the urgency of the case, mix operating procedures and communication with other professionals, to establish channels for reporting and referrals of cases detected and report the implementation of the "detection, notification and registration of child abuse cases in the Region of Murcia."
The event featured two papers, one on the protocol for the detection and reporting of child abuse and other legal aspects of gender violence.
At the opening of this conference was attended by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, Jesus Salmeron, Technical Department of Family and Children, Isidro Vivancos, Councillor for Citizen Security and Fulgencio Sánchez, Councillor for Social Welfare, Women and Equality.
