From 16 to July 30, 1917 young people from different parts of the country will participate in Torre Pacheco in a labor camp that seeks to propose and develop resources related to cultural revitalization of the town, raised from values of coexistence and cooperation, solidarity and multiculturalism, primarily aimed at young people.
This morning the youth councilor, Araceli Martinez, has hosted youth aged 19 to 20 years participating in the Intercultural Work Camp VI Torre-Pacheco.
In the municipality is registered nearly 8,000 young people aged between 15 and 30 years, of which over 2,000 are foreigners, mostly from Morocco and Ecuador.
Torre-Pacheco has more than 60 countries surveyed, the city lives this change as an opportunity to enrich themselves with other nationalities can share their culture.
This is the sixth consecutive year that takes the field, being the only one out in the Region of Murcia on this topic.
Parties, talks and tours are some of the activities to be carried out by young people during these 15 days.
Work Camps are a particular form of volunteer service, namely the realization of voluntary and selfless work of a project that reverts to the benefit of the community.
They offer the possibility to know new places and other cultural forms of contact with peers and to participate and collaborate with each other, in carrying out a project in which solidarity, tolerance, participation and friendship are values characteristic of volunteers Work Camps.
