The regional government has approved an agreement between the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration and the Association of Parents of Mentally Handicapped, Physical and Sensory (Prometheus), for which this entity will receive 150,000 euros for the construction of a multipurpose center for people with disabilities, located on Calle Jose Soto Ruiz, in the partial plan of Torre Pacheco La Hita.
The association will provide another 50,000 euros for the same purpose.
Prometheus began in 2008 to build a Child Development Center and Early as the first phase of multi-purpose center for people with disabilities, for the care of children under six years who have disabilities or risk.
The center will be located on a plot of 527 meters owned by the municipality of Torre Pacheco and will have a floor area of 446 square meters.
