The mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, the Director General of Citizen Services, Addictions and Consumption in the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Juan Manuel Ruiz Ros, Regional Coordinator of Drug Dependence, Juan Jiménez Roset, Health and Councilman Antonio Cozar, inaugurated this morning the Third Conference of Drug Consumption Habits in immigrants in the CAES (Center for Performing Arts) Torre-Pacheco.
These Days III are within the program for health promotion and assistance to the specific needs of the immigrant population.
The congress aims to facilitate the involvement of health professionals and social future of the area 2 and area 8 of health on the immigrant population in health and drug use.
For the development of this plan has received support from the Counseling Health, by signing an agreement with the municipality of Torre Pacheco.
This Plan for the Prevention of Drug Dependence is a commitment by the city of Torre Pacheco in the search for solutions to the problems posed by the drug phenomenon, adapting to the changing reality of consumption in our environment.
Intended as a vehicle for providing solutions for the next three years, through an intervention model based on the latest research and consistent with the theoretical lines of prevention adopted nationally and internationally.
The budget of this plan is 128,120 euros funded in part by the Health and Consumer Counseling (€ 14,163 in 2009).
