Day that held the seventh round of information, awareness and clearance Cabezo Gordo, a natural element of high environmental interest, historical and cultural.
The photo contest enrolled 10 people providing a lot of photographs, which show the flora and fauna of Cabezo Gordo and cleaning that took place that day.
Awards for schools were:
-1st prize € 1000, for IES Sabina Mora de Roldán.
-2 º € 500 prize for the IES Luis Manzanares.
-3rd prize of 300 €, for the IES Gerardo Molina.
The photo contest winners were:
- 1st prize (digital camera) to Antonio Conesa.
- 2 nd prize (digital photo 100 photographs) to M ª José Escudero.
At the awards ceremony was attended by Daniel García Madrid, Mayor of Torre Pacheco, M ª Dolores Valcarcel, Councillor of Finance, Isidro Vivancos, Councillor for Citizen Security, José Saura, Councillor for Sports and Concepcion Sanchez, Councillor for Employment and managers institutions and participants in the photo contest.
The Mayor was very pleased with this type of activities that help keep the Cabezo Gordo, which makes each year is cleaner.
It also showed his pride in the people who are sensitized to the environment and that cares about building a better future.
