The IES Luis Manzanares, the Department of Art, has completed a project in collaboration with the Youth Council of the City of Torre-Pacheco.
This is a retrospective view of Torre-Pacheco of the past and present, under the title "Torre Pacheco: yesterday and today."
Shows the need to reflect on the economic, social and demographic.
And how awareness of new generations of evolution and history of our people.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García, last Friday, January 15.
This project involved about 50 students of visual communication, they have rescued old photos of the Municipal Archives and they have taken the same picture, with the same frame of that place now, so you can see the evolution of urban planning human and Torre-Pacheco, and you see the economic, social and demographic.
Among the places photographed highlight the Calle Mayor, the Plaza de la Iglesia, Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
The mayor of Torre Pacheco invited citizens to participate in the program "Our photographic history, through which the Municipal Archives of Torre-Pacheco is intended to gather, organize, store, preserve and disclose all documents relevant to the municipality, that deserve your care and conservation at the Centre, and form the historical heritage of Torre-Pacheco.
This exhibit will remain until February 15, Tuesday to Saturday from 17,30 to 19.30 hours.
