Last Sunday, March 7, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council held the act of granting the Silver Medal posthumously for D.
Nicolas Gomez Campillo and D. Silver Medal
Joaquín García Celdran, in recognition and gratitude to the long career and service to his town from the City of Torre-Pacheco.
Spokesmen for the various political parties praised the way of being and the merits of both winners.
All had words of appreciation to them.
The act had its most emotional moment when the son of Nicolás Gómez and Joaquín García went to the podium to thank the award.
The Plenary Hall was attended by former mayors of Torre-Pacheco, and adopted children and favorite of the municipality.
